Attorney Megan Wade, founder of Connecticut Appellate Law Firm, will serve as a panelist at the Connecticut Legal Conference on June 2, 2026, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Attorney Wade focuses her practice on appellate litigation and consulting in Connecticut’s appellate courts.
Hosted by the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Legal Conference is the organization’s largest annual event and brings together attorneys from across the state for a full day of continuing legal education programs, networking, and professional development.
CLE Session: Don’t Lose it on Appeal
Megan will serve as a panelist for the program “Don’t Lose It on Appeal: Practical Preservation Tips from Both Sides of the Bench.” The session is part of the conference’s Trial and Appellate Track and is presented by the Appellate Advocacy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
The program will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
The session will feature a discussion between members of the bench and appellate practitioners about practical strategies for issue preservation at trial and on appeal. The panel will explore common preservation pitfalls, discuss how appellate courts evaluate preserved and unpreserved claims, and highlight how decisions made during trial can affect appellate review.
Megan will join Hon. Robin L. Wilson of the Connecticut Appellate Court and Scott T. Garosshen of Robinson + Cole LLP for the discussion. The program will be moderated by Alex Davenport of the Connecticut Appellate Court.
Additional details about the session are available on the session page.
