This year marks a major milestone for Community Partners in Action (CPA): 150 years of service supporting people impacted by the criminal legal system.
Connecticut Appellate Law Firm is proud to sponsor CPA’s 150th anniversary, celebrating more than a century of work rooted in dignity, humanity, and evidence-based justice reform.
Founded in 1875 as the Prisoners’ Friends Society, CPA is one of the oldest nonprofits in the country focused on criminal justice reform. From reentry services and youth programs to community-based alternatives to incarceration, CPA’s work offers crucial support for individuals, families, and communities.
As Vice Chairwoman of CPA’s Board of Directors and an appellate attorney who has handled more than a dozen criminal appeals, Attorney Megan Wade has witnessed CPA’s commitment up close. It is a privilege to support this Connecticut nonprofit and its evidence-based approach to criminal justice reform, reentry, and youth development. Connecticut Appellate Law Firm’s sponsorship reflects a shared belief in community support and systemic change.
